Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities during the 3rd shift, ensuring smooth operations across assembly lines and manufacturing processes
- Lead and motivate a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize productivity and safety compliance
- Monitor production schedules, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously; conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety awareness
- Oversee the proper use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment; verify maintenance needs are addressed promptly
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports; communicate progress and issues effectively to management
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate material handling, inventory management, and shipping requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines and production processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and warehouse equipment
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve issues efficiently
- Basic understanding of manufacturing safety standards and quality control procedures
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous
