Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a member of the PFS Corporate Finance team within the Accounting and Finance department. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the Foodservice Capital Expenditure process, support the PFS Specialty Meat Processing Companies, the Beverage/Chemical team, as well as ad hoc corporate financial analysis as needed. In this role the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Performance Foodservice OpCo’s and Corporate Finance leaders with dotted line accountability to the Specialty Region President. This position provides great opportunity for exposure to PFS leadership and a key function at Performance Foodservice with vast opportunities to grow within the organization.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Support the Performance Foodservice Specialty Region President in forecasting, budgeting, & financial analysis as needed.
- Provide direct financial support to the Grand Western Meat Processing facility including budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis

Oversee and support the Corporate Financial Analyst in all things related to the Performance Foodservice Capital Expenditure process, including: forecasting, budgeting, key deliverables to leadership, OpCo capital request processing and financial analysis.

Collaborate across departments including Field Finance, Accounting, OpCo’s, & IT.

Assist in Corporate Finance financial analysis and projects as needed.

Develop financial analysis tools to assist in management decisions

Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects

Manage the continuous development and improvement of the department

Participate in the professional development of staff including establishing and monitoring goals, providing performance feedback and mentoring

Participate in interviewing, hiring and training of new team members

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years accounting or finance experience in progressive roles
Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to work with large amounts of computer data
Ability to take ownership and be accountability
Must present a highly professional image and attitude.
Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
