We are looking for a full time veterinary assistant/technician to join our team at our busy small animal practice (cats and dogs only). We are in search of a dedicated team member with a passion for working with animals, who would be willing to help out in all departments as needed. We are seeking a candidate with the drive and motivation to learn in a fast-paced environment and grow with our facility. Customer service experience is required and previous veterinary experience is preferred, however, we are willing to train the right person.
Job duties include:
- Assisting the Doctor with patients.
- Restraint.
- Husbandry of hospitalized patients.
- Monitoring of hospitalized patients.
- Diagnostics: Collecting of samples and completing inhouse testing.
- Surgical prep along with Surgical nursing and postoperative recovery.
- Radiology.
- Client communications.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
