Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to lead our quality assurance efforts within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee quality control processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate quality audits to verify adherence to ISO 9001, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and other relevant standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems aligned with industry best practices such as Lean management, Six Sigma, and ISO.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and analysis using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), QA/QC procedures, and other technical tools to ensure products meet stringent quality standards in production.
- Oversee regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring manufacturing processes adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and legal requirements.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for quality issues, leading corrective and preventive actions to enhance process reliability.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and regulatory affairs to optimize quality systems and support project management initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance or control.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits, implementing ISO 9001 standards, and managing GMP compliance within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, GD&T practices, Six Sigma methodologies, and lean management techniques.
- Experience leading teams with effective communication skills across departments to promote regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives.
- Skilled in analysis techniques for defect investigation, process validation, and data-driven decision making.
- Prior project management experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred but not mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in quality control or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO9001
- Proficient in root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
- Experience with auditing processes and compliance monitoring
- Demonstrated team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Quality Management or a related field
- Bilingual
