Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently on-site
- Follow all construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and personal protective equipment
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for siding installation and related construction activities
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols; perform caulking, trim carpentry, stucco work, or masonry as needed
- Assist with other construction tasks such as framing, metal stud framing, or remodeling projects when required
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless project execution
Experience
- Prior experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as roofing, framing, or remodeling is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, tile laying, concrete forming, or masonry is advantageous
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and the proper use of safety harnesses is essential
- Background in carpentry, restoration work, plumbing, or handyman services will be considered a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights using appropriate safety measures
- Strong understanding of construction plans and ability to interpret technical details accurately
