Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager Equipment Dealer to lead our equipment sales and service operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives on driving business growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance team. As the face of the dealership, you will oversee all aspects of management, sales, customer relations, and process improvement to ensure the organization’s success and sustainability. Must have prior experience as a Manager.
Duties
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the equipment dealership, including sales, service, parts, and administrative functions
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Supervise and mentor department managers and staff to foster a motivated, goal-oriented work environment
- Oversee profit & loss statements, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure fiscal health and operational efficiency
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities and building strong customer relationships
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of equipment solutions and services
- Lead process improvement efforts by analyzing workflows, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in an equipment dealership or similar industry with a focus on sales and service operations
- Strong strategic planning skills with a track record of growing business revenue and market presence
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams and fostering a collaborative culture
- Expertise in profit & loss management, budgeting, and financial analysis to drive operational success
- Business development acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for expansion and new revenue streams
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to optimize workflows and enhance customer experiences
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude; ability to motivate teams toward shared goals
