You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life or assist in their learning. Teachers/Aides must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications and experience needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention.
The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can easily acclimate in the next level of education.

Responsibilities
- Develop/aide in a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Teacher/Teacher Aide
- Aides don't need any experience just a desire to learn
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
- Certification in child CPR
- 2 years of professional experience, or BS/BA in education, CDA , or relevant field
- Aide- High school diploma/ GED

Skills and Qualifications
Teachers are empathetic, outgoing, and energetic to keep up with the daily responsibilities of caring for young children. Generally, toddler teachers need at least an associate’s degree, along with the following skills:
- Lesson development – Develop or assist in the development of fun and engaging lessons that are interactive and enjoyable while supporting child development
- Classroom leadership – Successfully take charge in a classroom setting, keeping children engaged during activities and being able to rapidly adjust lessons and activities throughout the day
- Written and verbal communication – The ability to communicate both verbally and in written reports and documents is important for communicating with children and providing information to parents and administrators
- Observation and evaluation – Monitor children’s development, observing and evaluating students to keep track of their progress
- Compassion and empathy – Exercise compassion and empathy while interacting with children and their parents, supporting a safe, healthy learning environment for all children
- Organization and cleaning – Have a high level of organization and cleanliness; often arrive early or stay late to plan lessons and ensure that the classroom area is clean and sanitized'

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
