Title: Coordinator of Social Media and Communications
Department: Enrollment Management and Marketing
Reports To: Director of Communications
Classification: Part-Time - 20-29 hours per week
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, the position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring social media strategy and digital marketing efforts to increase awareness of Notre Dame High School and improve recruitment and retention efforts.
Provide support for the Office of Communications, including content maintenance of the public pages of the Notre Dame website as well as pages behind the password. Execution of bulk email communications to constituents and set-up of online event registrations. Utilize website-based Student Information System (SIS). Take photos at school events. Assist in the execution of Admission and Advancement events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and maintenance of a full-service, multimedia website.
- Collaborate with all departments in producing forms and registrations.
- Post to all social media platforms on a regular basis.
- Monitor and track all known ND social media accounts, including username and password retention. Ensure they represent the values and mission of Notre Dame High School.
- Analyze and track social media metrics.
- Support school marketing initiatives such as advertising design, producing photographs for school publications, maintaining web content, and collaborating in the production of school videos.
- Take, edit and post digital photographs on the website and social media.
Key Skills/Attributes:
- Proficient in the use of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X)
- Ability to learn new software. Experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Products, and Web Content Management Software such as Blackbaud K12 and Finalsite is a plus.
- Ability to function with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as proofreading abilities.
- Basic understanding of 35 mm digital cameras and photography.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with faculty, students, and staff.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field, or working towards a degree

A background and fingerprint report will be conducted and submitted to State authorities as required by law for all personnel working within a school environment. Must be willing to undergo Catholic Diocese VIRTUS certification.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
