Overview:
Our open position is for Saturday and Sunday from 5 am to 12 pm. Other shifts may be available during busy season or shift coverage is needed. This is a part time seasonal position but could become something more for the right person. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. Duties:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food items are properly displayed and stocked
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping tables, cleaning spills, and restocking supplies
- Monitor food levels throughout the breakfast service, replenishing items as necessary
- Clear tables and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Experience
- Previous experience in food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong background in customer service, serving, or hospitality roles that emphasize guest satisfaction
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced hotel settings
- Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence and creating welcoming atmospheres
