This role is responsible for building maintenance, warehouse equipment upkeep, grounds support, and general facility repairs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and capable of troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the Facilities Manager (or designated supervisor) and plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities.
Building & Facility Maintenance

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and structural repairs.

Conduct general facility upkeep to maintain safe and efficient warehouse and tenant-occupied building operations.

Identify and report facility maintenance concerns and recommend corrective actions.

Assist with improvement projects to enhance building functionality and operational efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance

Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, batteries, chargers, and other operational equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.

Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.

Maintain tools and maintenance equipment in safe working condition.
Grounds & Property Support

Assist with exterior property maintenance including seasonal landscaping and snow removal as needed.

Help maintain cleanliness and safety of parking lots, sidewalks, dock areas, and entrances.

Operate snow removal and landscaping equipment safely when required.
General Labor & Operational Support

Assist with moving materials, minor repairs, painting, and other facility support tasks.

Support operational and maintenance-related projects as assigned.

Collaborate with warehouse leadership, tenants, and team members to address maintenance priorities and operational needs.
Documentation & Inventory

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules.

Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and repair parts and communicate replenishment needs.
Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Ensure maintenance work is completed in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed, including occasional off-hours support if required.
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in warehouse maintenance, facility maintenance, commercial property maintenance, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Experience servicing forklifts or warehouse equipment strongly preferred.

Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
