Job Summary
Join our team as an End Dump Truck Loader, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of heavy-duty dump trucks used in various mining projects. Your expertise in operating and loading end dump trucks will help keep projects on schedule while maintaining high safety standards. This is a night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate end dump trucks to transport materials across sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols
- Load materials onto dump trucks using excavators, loaders, backhoes, or other heavy equipment with precision and care
- Conduct routine inspections of dump trucks and loading equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators to plan loading schedules and optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate logs of materials loaded, transported, and delivered for project documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving machinery
- Hands-on experience with loader operation, backhoe operation, horizontal drilling, and grader operation preferred
- Strong understanding of construction/mining site safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and loading equipment effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and site management
