We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Scheduler / Administrative & HR Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Home Health Agency. This is a critical role responsible for clinician scheduling, office administration, employee onboarding, compliance tracking, and HR support.
The ideal candidate has recent home health agency experience, exceptional organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment where patient care and staff support are top priorities.
What You'll Do:
Scheduling & Staffing·
- Schedule and coordinate visits for nurses, therapists, home health aides, and caregivers.
- Manage daily staffing needs, schedule changes, call-offs, and coverage requests.
- Ensure timely communication with field staff regarding schedule updates.
- Coordinate patient admissions and service schedules.
- Optimize clinician schedules for efficiency and quality patient care.
- Administrative Support
- Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer service.
- Maintain patient and employee records with strict confidentiality.
- Perform data entry, filing, document management, and general office support.
- Assist with payroll-related documentation and timekeeping records.
- Support day-to-day agency operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Human Resources Coordination
- Assist with recruiting, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintain employee personnel files and compliance documentation.
- Monitor and track licenses, certifications, CPR, TB tests, physicals, and other required credentials.
- Support employee retention and engagement initiatives.
- Compliance
- Help ensure agency compliance with company, state, and federal requirements.
- Track expiration dates for employee credentials and certifications.
- Assist with audits, surveys, and compliance-related reporting.
Qualifications
Required:
*Minimum 1 year of recent home health agency experience in scheduling, staffing, administration, or a similar role
*Strong understanding of home health operations and clinician scheduling
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
*Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
*Ability to work onsite full-time
Preferred:
- Experience with home health software
- HR or recruiting experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medicare and home health compliance requirements
