REQUIRED : High school diploma or equivalent with a certificate from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved Radiologic Technology Program.
PREFERRED : Bachelor in Science from a JRCERT program in Diagnostic Imaging or Radiologic Technology.

REQUIRED LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION
· Medical Radiologic Technologist license (MRT) from the Texas Department of State Health Services
· American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography credentials.
· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / CPR through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as applicable to focus of practice.
· Performs MRI/CT imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site Radiologist.
· Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
· Maintains patient care, comfort and safety during transport to and from the coach and during the exam.
· Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs.
· Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
· Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
· Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
· Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
· Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
· May assist with the set up and tear down of equipment in accordance with SMS and/or manufacturers’ guidelines.
· Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the mobile coach/facility.
· Completes necessary administrative tasks. ie: time reports, billing, QA, etc.
· Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
· Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies with facility policies/procedures.
· Complies with all safety policies and regulations.
· Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
· Performs additional duties as required.
