We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, fast-paced mental health team. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including detailed patient histories and mental status examinations.

Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens for psychiatric patients, ensuring appropriate followup and care.

Provide followup care in 15minute appointments, addressing any medication adjustments, side effects, and progress.

Handle 30minute transfer appointments, facilitating smooth transitions of care for patients referred to our practice.

Conduct comprehensive 45minute intake appointments, gathering essential patient information for effective treatment planning.

Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and medical support staff, to provide optimal patient care.

Keep accurate and uptodate patient records in accordance with practice policies and HIPAA guidelines.

Collaborate with the medical team to adjust treatment plans as necessary and provide ongoing patient support.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of New York

Minimum of 23 years of experience in psychiatric care or related field , including prescription writing.

Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions.

Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidencebased practices.

Comfortable working in a busy, highvolume environment with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Exceptional communication skills with a genuine desire to work with diverse patient populations.

Experience in outpatient psychiatric care or community mental health settings.

Familiarity with eClincalWorks (ECW)
