Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Lead Host to join our team. The Lead Host is more than just the first point of contact — you’re the face of SupperClub. In this role, you’ll greet guests warmly, manage reservations and seating flow, and ensure service runs smoothly. As a lead position, you’ll also take on additional leadership responsibilities, supporting front-of-house operations and helping guide the host team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow to optimize service.
- Communicate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Support training and mentoring of new host staff.
- Assist in management opening/closing duties and daily operational tasks.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and entry area.
Requirements
- Previous Host/Host or food service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
