We are a busy hotel so this job entails alot of work in maintaining our suites. We are looking for someone that wants to work and doesn't mind staying busy.
Assist the Chief Engineer in:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Keep all equipment clean, fully functional, and in top-notch condition.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs completed.
- Swiftly respond to and complete minor repair work orders as they arise.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment by following company and departmental safety protocols.
- Provide professional, positive, and prompt service to guests' needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent coverage and rapid guest service.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Report any missing hotel property or damages to the department manager.
- Accomplish other miscellaneous tasks as requested by hotel management.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid NC Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year of prior hotel/apartment maintenance experience.
- Be on-call for emergency and/or evening problems as scheduled
- Customer service experience required, preference given to those with hotel or related customer-facing experience.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift as needed.
- Reliable availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
- Quick learning and adeptness in a fast-paced role with constant guest engagement.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.
