What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Welcome Guests: Greet visitors with an authentic, professional, and warm demeanor to set a positive tone for their stay.
- Manage Arrivals & Departures: Execute efficient, accurate check-in and check-out processes while managing room assignments and reservations.
- Be the Local Expert: Provide insightful recommendations regarding hotel amenities, internal services, and top local attractions.
- Solve Problems Proactively: Own guest inquiries, troubleshoot issues immediately, and turn challenging situations into positive reviews.
- Coordinate Communications: Manage incoming phone calls, route inquiries to correct departments, and maintain open communication across hotel teams.
- Own the Front Office: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure desk environment that reflects our high standards.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)Minimum Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication with polished phone etiquette.
- Task Management: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize under pressure, and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to resolve customer complaints gracefully.
- Availability: Commitment to working full-time hours, including flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed in a 24/7 environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Prior Experience: One or more years in a hotel front desk, receptionist, or high-volume customer service role.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Hotel Management Systems (PMS) and multi-line phone systems.
- Languages: Fluency in multiple languages is a major asset.
