Description:
ABNA is seeking a Electrical Engineer for our Midtown St. Louis, MO location. This position requires a self-motivated
individual to assist with design and development of lighting, power distribution, communication, instrumentation and
controls projects. ABNA is a multi-disciplinary M/W/DBE firm experiencing growing opportunities for electrical
engineering and building services design capabilities for governmental, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional
facilities. Candidate must have 5-10 years of experience.

Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of design services may include the following tasks and duties:

Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.

Create and review electrical equipment specifications.
-
Prepare estimates of probable construction costs.
-
Perform electrical engineering studies and calculations.
-
Develop schematic drawings, wiring diagrams. MCC single line diagrams, control panel layouts, lighting & power
-
plan drawings.
-
Review Shop drawings and vendor documentation.
-
Clearly communicate concepts and ideas with clients and construction personnel.
-
Read and interpret P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings.
-
Develop proposals and project hour estimates.
-
Assist with sales calls and interviews for projects.
-
Meet with clients and vendors.
-
Mentor less experienced engineers and designers
