Our client, a packaging or distribution facility is looking for a Forklift near Fairfield, CA. In this role you will be responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, utilizing forklifts to ensure the proper warehousing of materials, and managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment, among other duties.
Your Day:
- Loading, unloading, staging, and shrink-wrapping warehouse items
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation
- Inspecting for damages to vehicles
- Lubricating fork truck, recharging batteries
- Operating and managing technical equipment
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment
- Identifying workplace safety hazards
- Adhering to safety management standards
- Adhering to production schedules
About You:
- Previous forklift operator experience required
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Good organizational skills
Shift/Pay-Rate:
- 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, possible overtime
- Monday to Friday
- $19.21 /hour
