Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment in Van Alstyne is growing and has a need for a Service Manager who has the desire to grow with our company!
As a Kubota dealer we sell, service, and rent construction and turf equipment in the DFW metro area. Kubota is the #1 compact construction brand in the United States and we are aiming to be the #1 compact construction dealer in DFW!
We’re looking for an experienced service professional who can lead a team of technicians and service advisors to be the best dealer in DFW. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximizing department profitability, managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring shop efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective service workflows and action plans to increase billable hours and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of service technicians and advisors to ensure they possess the technical skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Monitor service metrics and KPIs (efficiency, proficiency, and recovery rates) to track individual and shop performance.
- Manage warranty claims processes effectively and drive customer-pay service revenue.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department and inventory teams to ensure parts availability to meet repair timelines and customer demand.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians to achieve production targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to customers.
- Previous experience in service management, heavy equipment repair, automotive service, or dealership operations is preferred.
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet repair deadlines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and machinery knowledge.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Pre-employment drug screening required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
