Summary
Based in Kaukauna, WI, our Install Technicians serve the eastern part of WI, focusing primarily on the Green Bay through Fond du Lac areas. We will install outside of that range on occasion, including into Door County. Our Install Technicians are our chief problem solvers and install experts. We are looking for experienced Window/Door Installation Technicians!
Pay
Candidates with 3+ verifiable years of prior (ideally, recent) experience installing replacement residential windows and doors could start between $24-26 pending evaluation of skills and knowledge. Candidates with less experience will start between $22-23 per hour. Install Technicians have an opportunity to bonus every 4 weeks in addition to quarterly profit sharing potential! Pay is re-evaluated at the end of 90 days! :)
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare openings for proper fit.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding installation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently and ethically.
- Using a brake, bend metal to wrap windows as needed.
- Drive company vehicles to/from job sites.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 full year of experience in construction/trades.
- 2-3 years experience installing windows and patio doors is preferred.
- Strong ability to read a basic tape measure accurately.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with team members and customers.
- Finish carpentry experience is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
