Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic counter person/server to join our team at Legends at Diamond Oaks Golf Course. We are a fast-paced golf course restaurant that caters to golfers and our local neighborhood. We are currently looking for someone to fill the evening/closing shift, 2 or 3 days per week. Restaurant hours are daylight based, as we are open from sun up to sun down. Position receives cash tips every shift.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and recipes.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system (Micros) to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash drawer count.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and dining area.
- Bus and clean tables, maintaining a clean dining area for guests at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling techniques, to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Restock all product including drinks, snacks, cups, and other guest items.
- Follow all closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is shut down, clean, restocked, and ready for the following day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with restaurants, serving, or cashiering in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is preferred.
- Cash handling experience is a must.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and friendliness at all times.
- Previous experience serving beer and alcohol is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry is essential. ServSafe and RBS certification will be required after being hired.
