Role Summary: The Floating Member Service Representative (Floating MSR) provides exceptional service and operational support across all branch locations. This position fills staffing needs and assists where coverage is required, ensuring consistent member experiences and operational continuity throughout the credit union.
The Floating MSR performs teller and member service functions, supports account maintenance, and reinforces operational standards in collaboration with multiple branch teams. Flexibility, professionalism, and adaptability are key to success in this role.

Core Responsibilities:
- Greet members warmly and provide efficient service for deposits, withdrawals, transfers,
payments, and other transactions.
- Provide teller and member service support at multiple branches, performing deposits,
withdrawals, transfers, payments, and account inquiries.
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain minimal outages.
- Open new accounts and perform account maintenance in accordance with policy.
- Maintain knowledge of current rates, promotions, and product features to assist members effectively.
- Educate members on products and services that meet their financial needs.
- Assist with loan payments, check requests, share drafts, and line of credit advances.
- Handle member inquiries, disputes, and requests for information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of member and credit union information at all times.
- Reinforce operational consistency and compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies or errors, escalating when necessary.
- Support branch operations with scanning, mail, data entry, and phone support.
- Communicate promptly with leadership regarding scheduling, travel plans, or support needs.
- Provide coverage during vacations, leaves, or special projects.
- Contribute to branch goals by achieving individual referral and service benchmarks.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support branch success.
