Team Lead for Manufacturing Enviornment
$29 HR MON-FRI 6AM TO 2:30PM
Primary role is to assist and provide oversight for assigned department. Responsible for work direction to the team to ensure daily safety, quality, productivity, and efficient flow of work. Primarily serve as shift or work cell team lead that guides operators and projects of varying scope and work cells:
- Serve as a technical resource for operators
- Train and develop less experienced operators and participate in their development in partnership with VSM
- Additional duties in setting up and operating machinery for Fabrication and Composites.
- Remaining two openings, MUST be bilingual in English/Spanish.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Consistently meets or exceeds standard work/role execution
- Perform work independently with minimal defects
- Ability to be flexible in situations when production needs change unexpectedly.
- Intermediate math skills & aptitude
- Ability to understand drawing and blueprints
- Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
