POSITION:
The Studio Manager is the cornerstone of our studio and is responsible for its financial and experiential success. The SM is the proverbial captain of the ship, overseeing all aspects of studio functionality including Sales and Operations as well as the direct supervision of the front desk team and teachers. They must have a passion for sales & customer service, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team leader who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness.
DUTIES
- Revenue Generation: A studio (yes, even a yoga studio) is a business. Therefore, the primary focus of the SM is to manage and grow all revenue streams including:
- Memberships and Packages
- Retail
- Workshops, Privates and Teacher Trainings
- Student Acquisition and Retention: A successful studio depends on supporting prospective students through the following life cycle:
- Lead Generation: Generating consistent lead flow through a blend of GrassRoots Marketing, Social Media, and Referrals
- Booking Appointments: Contacting leads in a timely manner to establish relationship and get them booked in for a class experience
- Membership Sales: Following a successful initial class experience, presenting the best membership option based on the student’s goals, and overcoming objections as appropriate
- Retention: Ensure new members are onboarded properly and continue to feel value of membership through both utilizing classes and ensuring class quality is exceptional
- Marketing: Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty
- Social media management
- Leadership
- Studio Operations
- Manage maintenance issues, inventory and cleaning
- Work closely with Regional and studio Owner to ensure health and profitability of the studio
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales & Management Experience
- 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
- Confident in generating personal sales and sales training
- Experience supervising and training people successfully
- Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
- Proven experience in generating and following up on leads
- Communication & People Skills
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
- Ability to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may voice frustrations

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
