Transport Maritime Crew Members, Captains & Critical Personnel
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: 8/2 (8 days on call / 2 days off) - On duty days 24 hours on call
Pay: $15/hr - $17hr depending on experience, skillset, and certifications

Are you an experienced driver who enjoys working in a fast-paced maritime environment? We are seeking a dependable and professional Crew Driver to provide safe, timely, and efficient transportation for maritime crew members, vessel captains, contractors, and other personnel between ships, ports, airports, hotels, government offices, medical facilities, warehouses, and other designated locations.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience as a Crew Driver, Transportation Driver, Airport Driver, Shuttle Driver, Courier Driver, Delivery Driver, Logistics Driver, Maritime Logistics Associate, Non-CDL Driver, CDL Driver, or Passenger Transport Driver.
The Crew Driver plays a critical role in supporting vessel operations by ensuring maritime personnel arrive safely and on schedule while maintaining exceptional customer service, professionalism, and compliance with transportation and safety regulations.

Safely operate company vehicles to transport maritime crew members, vessel captains, contractors, visitors, and company personnel.

Transport passengers, luggage, packages, documents, and company property between ships, ports, airports, hotels, warehouses, customs offices, medical facilities, and other designated locations.

Plan and coordinate transportation routes using company technology and routing tools while accounting for traffic, weather, vessel schedules, and operational changes.

Prepare trip documentation and conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections before each assignment.

Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, route changes, trip status, and daily availability.

Ensure all passengers follow applicable safety policies and transportation regulations.

Maintain accurate trip logs, passenger records, and required documentation, including signatures and customs-related paperwork.

Complete operational documentation accurately using company technology, mobile applications, and transportation management systems.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and immediately report safety concerns, damage, or maintenance needs.

Conduct basic vehicle upkeep, including fueling, fluid checks, tire pressure monitoring, cleaning, sanitization, and overall vehicle organization.

Communicate professionally with vessel crews, clients, port authorities, customs officials, government agencies, hotels, medical facilities, and other stakeholders.

Promote customer feedback participation and support service quality initiatives.

Maintain compliance with company safety standards, HSEQ policies, OSHA requirements, DOT regulations, and all applicable transportation procedures.

Assist with additional transportation and operational support functions as required.

High school diploma or GED.

At least 1 year of professional driving, transportation, shuttle, courier, logistics, delivery, or passenger transport experience.

Must be 23 years of age or older.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to maintain personal automobile insurance as required by state law.

Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card before employment begins.

Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and technology for documentation and communication.

Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a team-oriented operation.

Proven ability to safely operate in high-traffic and time-sensitive environments.

Experience in maritime logistics, shipping, transportation services, crew transportation, vessel operations, or supply chain environments.

Experience operating passenger vans, cargo vans, pickup trucks, or similar commercial vehicles.

Familiarity with ports, airports, vessel terminals, customs operations, and maritime facilities.

Experience completing transportation logs, operational documentation, or customs-related paperwork.
