Line Cook – Ba Sa Restaurant
Ba Sa Restaurant is currently hiring Line Cooks to join our culinary team as we are into our busiest season of the year. We are a high-volume contemporary Vietnamese restaurant that combines traditional Vietnamese flavors with Pacific Northwest ingredients and French techniques. We pride ourselves on teamwork, professionalism, and creating a positive work environment where everyone supports one another.
We're looking for motivated cooks who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, have a strong sense of urgency, and take pride in preparing consistently high-quality food. Our line cooks are an essential part of delivering the experience our guests have come to expect.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $20.00/hour
- Line Cooks participate in our tip pool, increasing average earnings well above base pay
- Overtime paid at 1.5× your hourly wage after 40 hours worked per week, plus tip pool earnings

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Ba Sa's recipes and quality standards
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and presentation during high-volume service
- Set up, stock, and break down your station each shift
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Work closely with chefs and fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and maintaining an organized kitchen
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during service
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with the right attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend and evening availability required
