Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Craftsmanship: Perform high-level carpentry across all phases of a remodel. This includes structural demolition, rough framing (walls, roofs, additions), and precision finish carpentry (installing custom cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, and hardware).
- On-Site Management & Supervision: Direct and mentor apprentice carpenters and laborers on site. Coordinate daily schedules and oversee specialized subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, drywallers, painters).
- Project Oversight: Read and interpret blueprints, architectural designs, and structural engineering layouts. Ensure work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Client & PM Communication: Serve as the primary on-site liaison for the homeowner, addressing questions and managing expectations. Work closely with the company Project Manager or Estimator to track budget, schedule, and any necessary change orders.
- Material Logistics: Plan ahead, calculate, and order building materials to ensure the crew has everything needed to maintain momentum without project delays.
Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 5 to 7+ years of hands-on residential carpentry experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or site-management role.
- Tools & Transport: Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional hand and power tools, as well as a reliable truck or van capable of transporting tools/materials.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in "frame-to-finish" construction, deep understanding of residential remodeling nuances (working in occupied, historic, or older homes), strong problem-solving skills, and clean and effective communication.
- Soft Skills: Must have the ability to model the behavior that we expect from all employees because as a supervisor/manager you are representative of KRB Concepts’ set of values. Must be skilled in providing clear instruction, must have patience and remain calm in stressful situations, must be respected by those reporting to you.

Other Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to provide documents to support it.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening. We also drug screen post-injury/accident.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
