Summit Staffing is seeking experienced Forklift Operators skilled in Cherry Picker, Sit-Down, Reach Truck and Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) operators to support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, receiving, loading, unloading, and shipping products using various types of material handling equipment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and productivity standards.

- Pay Range: $18.05 – $20.43/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment including Electric Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, Stand-Up, Sit-Down, Reach Truck, or Dock Stocker.
- Perform order picking and packing according to pick sheets or bills of lading.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Check and verify orders for accuracy and damage-free handling.
- Participate in physical inventories and assist with labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or re-packing as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and security regulations and company policies.
- Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly and charge equipment batteries as required.
- Regular and punctual attendance; overtime may be required.
- Support warehouse operations as needed to ensure workflow continuity.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack and 1–3 years operating other forklift equipment (Cherry Picker, Sit-Down, etc.).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills required.
- Experience with RF Scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
