What the job is like
- Pay: $31.69 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 07:30 am - 4:00 pm or 08:00 am – 5:00 pm depending on the needs of the unit
- Location: Palo Alto, CA
- Duration: 13 weeks initially
- Start Date: Immediate need – Target start date of July 19

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current Nursing Assistant certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
- Measure and record patient height and weight.
- Monitor and document patient intake and output, including oral fluid intake and urine output.
- Assist patients with mobility, basic hygiene, comfort, and nutritional needs.
- Support scheduling workflows by updating the unit schedule board as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Follow all department policies and procedures while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
