We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across a residential apartment community. This role ensures apartments are safe, functional, and well-maintained, while providing excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances
- HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
- Diagnose issues, determine necessary repairs, and complete work efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and comply with local codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records
- Provide professional and courteous service to residents and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade certification a plus)
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience in residential, apartment, or facilities settings (preferred)
- HVAC Certified
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and must have own vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Work Schedule
- 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday . Once trained, must agree to be put on rotation for on-call emergencies.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
