Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Manage order picking tasks accurately using warehouse management systems and <PERSON> pick procedures to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure machinery operates safely and effectively.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution by organizing materials on pallets, racks, or storage areas for easy access and inventory control.
- Implement proper materials handling techniques in compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management, stock replenishment, and space optimization strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo lifts in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker technology to streamline operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Prior warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, heavy lifting, and materials handling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
