Job Title: PACU Nurse Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Type: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
Salary: Up to $130,000
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking PACU Nurse Manager for an exciting Travel or Local job in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the PACU department
- Oversee staffing assignments and maintain productivity targets
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance
- Review and update departmental policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
- Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives
- Monitor operations and resolve operational issues proactively
- Support budget management and inventory control
- Promote staff development and continuing education
- Act as a change agent and role model for the department
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BSN required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
- Minimum 2+ years of OR or Day Surgery experience required
- Previous nursing leadership/management experience required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required
