Experienced Automotive Service Advisor
Elder Hyundai & Genesis of Macomb is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing Service Department.
We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who understands the importance of building relationships, communicating effectively with customers, and maximizing every service opportunity while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
- Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and requested services
- Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
- Recommend services based on manufacturer maintenance schedules, vehicle condition, and customer needs
- Prepare accurate repair orders and estimates
- Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and costs clearly to customers
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Coordinate closely with Technicians, Parts, and the Service Department team
- Follow up with customers regarding declined services and future maintenance needs
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Properly close and finalize repair orders
- Meet and exceed individual and department performance goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to effectively recommend maintenance and repair services
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Comfortable working with customers both in person and over the phone
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- CDK Drive and CDK Service experience is a plus, but not required
- Hyundai/Genesis dealership experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider experienced advisors from other automotive brands
