Job Summary: To assure the maintenance for a private company fleet including maintaining company vehicles, truck tractors, yard mules, small farm tractors, and a fleet of dry van trailers.
Primary Responsibilities and Experience:
- Ability to perform air brake services and PMs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems on equipment, especially rolling stock.
- Repair and maintain company vehicles, including truck tractors, yard mules, small farm tractors, and assorted equipment.
- Manage and carry out scheduled maintenance and service on all company equipment.
- Order parts as needed to carry out maintenance and repairs.
- Keep work area clean and in compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Have own hand tools and transportation.
- Document maintenance and service jobs.
- Be willing to work outdoors in a dusty environment.
- Follow all safety and food safety policies.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Work well in a team or alone.
- Utilize Wilco's work order system.
Pay shall take into account work experience and skill.
