Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the agency’s daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards
- Prospect actively through outside sales channels, including retail sales, telemarketing, and community outreach to generate new client leads
- Develop tailored insurance solutions by analyzing client needs and presenting appropriate coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Oversee sales administration tasks such as policy processing, documentation, and benefits administration
- Cultivate relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and ongoing support
- Conduct marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract new business opportunities
- Train, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve sales targets and professional growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales, retail sales, or outside sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in both bilingual or multilingual settings preferred
- Familiarity with sales administration processes, analysis skills, and benefits administration practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with an understanding of HIPAA regulations when applicable
- Ability to conduct telemarketing campaigns ethically and effectively while maintaining compliance standards
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote agency growth and client engagement
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- Valid licensing as a California individual insurance producer or willingness to obtain necessary certifications before starting
Compensation
Average Total Negotiated Life Insurance Commission is 100-120% of Annual Premium Cost with 90% to Producer and 10% to Agency and negotiated Overrides for Agency Director for Team Transactions.
