Caregiver responsibilities include:
- Provide personal assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities, being prepared to assist with personal care needs, including toileting and showering
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and outings
- Assist with lifting, up to 50 lbs, and be able to bend, twist, push and pull to assist clients
- with daily tasks
- Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous caregiving experience (REQUIRED)
- Dementia Experience
- Has Reliable Transportation to reach clients
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
