Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Level Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, including both gasoline and diesel engines, with a focus on delivering exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services. As an integral part of our dealership, you will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Your passion for automotive technology and commitment to quality will help ensure our customers drive away satisfied every time. Every tech has their own work bay with a 2 post lift and many other shop tools, though having your own box and hand tools is a requirement. We have an abundance work and currently starting construction on an additional brand new shop. Extra hours is always an option but not a requirement. Pay is flexible depending on experience, certifications are not required but do help on the pay scale. We are a fast growing family owned company and we are looking for good, honest, and reliable people to grow with us.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and other mechanical components in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems and execute repairs precisely.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively during repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including estimates, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Requirements
- Proven dealership/independent shop experience as an automotive technician with a strong background in diagnostics.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, transmissions, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive diagnostics software.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools safely.
- Service technician experience working with different makes and models.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in diagnosing complex issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
