Job Overview
Clearview Animal Hospital is a privately owned, growing veterinary hospital focused on delivering thoughtful, thorough care to our patients and a supportive, positive experience for our clients. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant or Technician who wants to be part of a team that communicates well, stays engaged, and supports each other throughout the day. This role is hands-on and fast-moving. You will work closely with the doctor and team to keep appointments flowing, support medical care, and help ensure both patients and clients feel cared for and understood. We are looking for someone who is attentive, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing things well. You don’t have to know everything—we’re happy to teach—but we do value curiosity, follow-through, and a positive attitude. Duties
- Assist the doctor with exams, treatments, and procedures, including safe and confident animal
- Work alongside pre-veterinary students from Clemson University, helping guide and support their growth as aspiring veterinarians while we care for our clients and their pets together.
Handling
- Prepare patients and equipment for surgery and diagnostics while maintaining clean and organized
Workflows
- Support patient care through monitoring, treatments, and attention to comfort and safety
- Collect and run IDEXX laboratory samples accurately to support diagnosis and treatment
- Communicate with the team during appointments to help keep cases moving smoothly
- Help maintain flow of the day by staying aware of timing and team needs
- Support client experience through clear, kind, and professional interactions (in-room or at the front)
- Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment including treatment areas, exam rooms, and
Kennels
- Step in where needed to support the team throughout the day
Skills
- Strong animal handling skills with attention to safety and patient comfort
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment
- Clear and kind communication with both team members and clients Willingness to ask questions and continue learning

Experience:
- Veterinary technician: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- LVT Degree or Experience as a Shift Lead Vet Assistant (Preferred)
