Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Elementary Dance Teacher to inspire creativity and foster artistic development among young learners. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging art curricula aligned with early childhood education standards and developmental stages.
- Plan and execute diverse lesson plans that incorporate elements of literacy, math, and social-emotional learning through art activities.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging respectful collaboration among students.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance artistic instruction and facilitate interactive projects.
- Support students with special needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention strategies, ensuring inclusive participation.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing when applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support holistic child development and coordinate extracurricular art initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in early childhood or elementary settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education integrated into arts instruction.
- Experience in teaching physical education or incorporating movement into art activities is a plus.
- Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with autism or other learning differences.
- Excellent communication skills for mentoring students, engaging parents, and collaborating with staff.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools relevant to art education and classroom administration.
- Prior experience in private schools or Montessori environments is advantageous.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
