Overview
The role of the Scheduling Coordinator & Recruiter is to provide the day-to-day coordination and scheduling and to be responsible for the attainment of recruitment goals of field personnel as outlined in the operational plan. The Scheduling Coordinator & Recruiter is responsible for intake of cases from agency referral sources and placement of appropriate personnel for each case.

Recruiter Responsibilities
1. In accordance with the branch operational plan, initiate recruitment strategy and advertising plan.
2. Access community resources for recruitment of qualified staff or trainees.
3. Interface with local Department of Labor, Training Centers, Job Fairs and all other potential sites for recruiting.
4. Attend job fairs, schools, training centers and other potential sites for recruiting as required.
5. Follow-up with Social Media applicant inquiries as needed.
6. Provide presentations to community groups and schools regarding employment opportunities in home care.
7. Conduct open house recruiting events.
8. Evaluate applicants: coordinate the screening, selection and hiring process to ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations.
9. Process pending employment applications; verify certificates/licenses, check references, obtain pre-employment medical, and drug screen if required by state.
10. Provide new employees with an Orientation Handbook and give a full orientation discussing the policies and procedures of the agency. (Recruiter conducts administrative part of the Orientation and the RN/LPN completes the clinical portion.)
Recruiter & Scheduling Coordinator
11. Complete new hire exclusion screenings, including OIG, SAM, OFAC and others as required by state regulations.
12. Complete e-verify and worker opportunity tax credit screenings for new hires.
13. Prepare training class packets, including units, modules, attendance sheets, summary of test scores, supervised practical training documents and competencies as applicable.
14. Enter employees into company database and scan new hire documents within required timeframe.
15. Assist in scanning employee compliance documents as needed and within required timeframe.
16. Assist in the preparation of the office Operational Plan.
17. Ensure all HIPAA regulations are adhered to.
18. Follow Agency policies and procedures.
19. All other duties as assigned.
Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities:
20. Participation in general office administrative operations to ensure business continuity
21. Manage intake coordination tasks from all referral sources
22. Maintain client schedules efficiently and appropriately
23. Interact with agency contracts and implement the Contact Strategy
24. Manage client/contract satisfaction with appropriate customer service, communication and follow up
25. Supervision and oversight of all branch field paraprofessionals
26. Branch liaison between office members to ensure appropriate communication and smooth work flow
27. Assist in the preparation of office operational plan and participate in plan implementation
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
