South Dakota State University (SDSU) Admissions is currently seeking a detail-oriented, customer focused individual to join our team as an administrative assistant! The SDSU Admissions Office is an outgoing, dynamic team that strives to build strong work relationships and an environment that encourages teamwork and open communication. The Admissions department serves as the primary gateway for prospective students by facilitating a smooth and transparent application and enrollment process. The department engages in active recruitment and outreach efforts while collaborating closely with academic departments, financial aid and other administrative units to ensure a seamless experience for prospective and admitted students. This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota.

Job Responsibilities: Organize, review, and process SDSU admission applications in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions regarding the general application process and specific application information to prospective students and/or their families as well as to co-workers and school counselors through various means of communication. Must be a team player while being able to work independently.
