Overview
Seeking a professional full-time Groundskeeper with maintenance and landscaping experience to join our team on a private residence. We will rely on you to keep the home and grounds in peak condition. A well-organized and detail-oriented person will be valued greatly in this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Responsible for the overall upkeep of the property landscape and exterior image which includes cleaning of driveways, curbs, exterior walkways, or any other general areas; maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants and grass areas, snow/ice removal; preparations for various weather conditions.
· Perform basic landscape duties including but not limited to mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, watering, laying down sod and mulch, planting flowers, shrubs and trees, cleaning debris, digging, blowing leaves, pulling weeds, water plants, etc.
· Operate and maintain powered equipment associated with landscape maintenance such as mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
· Perform light repair and maintenance on landscape equipment and irrigation system.
· Ability to troubleshoot pipes and/or potential irrigation leaks/problems.
· Perform minor home repairs/maintenance (ex. changing light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs)
· Responsible for coordinating home repairs, AC maintenance, pest control, lawn fertilizing, and weed control with appropriate providers.
· Responsible for keeping swimming pool clean.
· Help with holiday decorations.
· Maintain owner vehicles, including washing vehicles and overseeing vehicle maintenance schedule
Assisting in inventory, organizing tool sheds and garages.
Picking up supplies or materials from local hardware and/or landscaping stores.
Respond to the Property owners with a clear plan and solutions to any concerns in a timely and professional manner if needed.
· Work as event crew/support when events are hosted on company campus.
· Present a neat and clean appearance.
· Practice consistent dependability, attendance and adheres to work schedules
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High School Diploma
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Background & Drug Screening prior to hiring
· Prior landscaping experience preferred, but not required
Work Schedule:
· Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
· Occasional weekend duties as needed
