American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with NY license in hand and 1+ year of radiation experience for a hospital oncology department using Varian TrueBeam and Aria software.

Work in a hospital Oncology department

8-hour day shifts (8:00am-4:30pm)

5 shifts per week, 40 hours weekly

13-week contract assignment

Uses Varian TrueBeam and IX equipment
-
Uses Aria software for treatment planning and records
-
No on-call requirements

Active NY Radiation Therapist license required in hand (license required if applicable)

Current BLS certification
-
Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Specific experience and training in Radiology preferred

Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Maintain all registries and licenses as required by state and federal law
