We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Arcade Game Technician to join our vibrant entertainment team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of arcade gaming machines and electronic entertainment systems. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on arcade game hardware and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Use diagnostic tools and electrical schematics to identify issues within AC/DC electrical systems, electronic components, and computer hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical equipment malfunctions through electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and soldering techniques.
- Conduct field service visits to various locations for on-site repairs, installations, or upgrades of arcade machines.
- Utilize hand tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and electronic testing equipment to diagnose faults accurately.
- Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate precise repairs and modifications of complex electronic systems.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards while working with low voltage electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Document repair activities thoroughly and communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.
- Assist in the testing of electronic equipment post-repair to verify functionality before returning machines to service.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs or maintenance procedures clearly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electronic or arcade game equipment repair is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting techniques for AC/DC systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic circuit boards.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, soldering irons, schematics reading software, and computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to arcade machines including component replacement and assembly.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting guides accurately.
- Experience working in field service environments delivering timely repairs across multiple locations is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to ensure high-quality service delivery.
