Warehouse Operations
- Receive and inspect all incoming cabinet shipments for damage or shortages.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and report discrepancies immediately.
- Label and log all incoming materials into the warehouse tracking system.
- Organize inventory by project, customer, and installation date.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse records.
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA compliant.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, forklifts, and warehouse supplies are maintained.
Inventory Management
- Track all cabinet inventory from arrival through installation.
- Manage hardware, fillers, moldings, panels, countertops, and miscellaneous materials.
- Perform routine inventory audits.
- Order warehouse supplies as needed.
- Prevent material loss, damage, or theft.
Assembly Operations
- Manage and schedule cabinet assembly crews.
- Prioritize builds according to installation schedules.
- Perform quality control inspections before cabinets leave the warehouse.
- Ensure completed assemblies are properly wrapped and protected for transport.
- Maintain production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
Delivery & Logistics
- Schedule all outgoing customer deliveries.
- Coordinate deliveries with installation crews and project managers.
- Prepare delivery packets and loading lists.
- Verify trucks are loaded completely and accurately.
- Optimize delivery schedules for efficiency.
- Coordinate pickups from cabinet suppliers and vendors.
Team Management
- Supervise warehouse personnel and assembly staff.
- Assign daily responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety.
- Maintain accountability for attendance, quality, and performance.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Project Coordination
- Communicate daily with the sales team regarding project status.
- Coordinate with project managers and installers to ensure job readiness.
- Notify management of material shortages or scheduling conflicts.
- Track project milestones to ensure cabinets are available when needed.
Quality Control
- Inspect cabinets for damage prior to delivery.
- Verify all materials required for installation are included.
- Resolve warranty or damaged material issues with vendors.
- Ensure finished products meet company quality standards.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation.
- Update inventory software and project tracking systems.
- Keep delivery schedules current.
- Generate reports on inventory, production, and warehouse activity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse management experience
- Experience in cabinetry, millwork, construction, or building materials preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient with computers and inventory management software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: $53,347.50 - $64,246.45 per year
