DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:

Engages students in both team sports and individual activities, while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness.

Teaches social interaction skills as students learn and work together in the Physical Education setting.

Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of life-long physical activity and awareness of self.

Teaches the PE standards from the Massachusetts curriculum framework with regard to national PE standards.

Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities.

Follow the Health lessons plan put forth by the educator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Certification in Elementary Physical Education preferred
