The Fiscal and Operational Support (FOS) Division is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Permit Analyst or Senior Permit Analyst. This position may be filled with either title based on qualifications and experience.
The Permit Analyst position performs clerical review of applications and issues permits consistent with departmental regulations. This is a customer service position with significant responsibility that requires sound judgement and attention to detail. Work is performed with considerable independence under the guidance of the Senior Permit Analyst and the Building Coordinator or Administration.
The Senior Permit Analyst is responsible for reviewing applications, issuing permits, providing customer service, responding to customer inquires and compliants as well as training and providing guidance to Permit Analyst staff.
