Cook – Casual
Country Gardens, a state licensed assisted living facility, is seeking a casual as needed Cook.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including entrees, sides, and desserts

Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
-
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy
-
Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
-
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
-
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
-
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
-
Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety guidelines
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
