The School of Art & Design at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally needs to hire Part-Time Lecturers (multiple subject areas) to start Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 to teach in its Bachelor’s/Master’s program in the Edinburg/Brownsville campuses. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction in the program, advising students, and participating in scholarship activities serving the college, university, or local communities as needed.

Teaching assignments include Art Appreciation, Art Education, Art History, Drawing/Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Foundation, Jewelry, Design, Studio Generalist, Ceramic, Photography, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design/Visual Communications, Intermedia and Graphic Design.
